    Busan Social and Solidarity Fund

The Busan Social and Solidarity Fund is the first regional social solidarity fund created by labor-management agreement in Korea in December 2019. It supports job-creating enterprises, small businesses, and youth entrepreneurship, and conducts various projects to support blind spots and socially vulnerable groups.

In order to reduce the operating burden of social economy enterprises and encourage stable business activities, the foundation provides loans to social enterprises, cooperatives, village enterprises, self-sustaining enterprises, etc. in the Busan area to reduce the operating burden of social economy enterprises and promote stable business activities. SVS matched same amount of the loan fund from the Busan Social and Solidarity Fund to enlarge the reach of the program and provide technical support to the local intermediary on implementing the financing tool.

As of the end of December 24, a total of four companies that contribute to the creation of social values such as culture and youth job creation, which have been incorporated for three years or less, were selected and supported with this loan program.
