Through civic assetization project matching loans, SVS promotes stable local social innovation activities by securing social infrastructure for social economic enterprises and other local stakeholders. To this end, SVS established the ‘Citizen Participation Regional Assetization Matching Loan Program’ with online investment company (P2P financier) Bplus, and executed three community assetization matching loans.
A total of KRW 3 million was invested to ‘Gunmac 1897 Cooperative’, where residents and merchants gathered to revitalize Mokpo Dry Seafood Street in Jeollanam-do; to ‘Blue Bike Sharing’, a social enterprise that operates a bicycle school with residents in Gwidok-ri, Jeju; and ‘Habit Together Cooperative’, formed by three social economy enterprises with residents living in Mapo district, Seoul, facing gentrification.
