SVS participated in the Jeonju Social Cooperative for Medical Welfare’s assetization project, which creates healthy communities in the region, as an institutional investor rather than a lender.

Through this community assetization project, the cooperative could secure a space for collaboration among social economy enterprises in Jeonju and contribute to resolve medical inequalities in the community by increasing access to healthcare for vulnerable groups.

During the investment period(5 years), SVS offers the interest-free loan for the cooperative can save the financial cost and to provide care and medical services to the vulnerable commuinity in the region.

As of December 2023, the annual social services provided to the local community amounted to KRW 43.2 million. As of December 2023, the members of the cooperative was 1,927 and the investment amounted to KRW 772 million, an increase of 21.4% and 71.6%, respectively, from August 2020, before SVS participation.
