The Gyeongsangnam-do Youth Impact Investment Fund is the first impact fund in the country where both the investor and investee are composed of the same region. The fund invests in young local value creators (local creators) and social value-based startups in Gyeongsangnam-do that are based on local resources and social values. Investing in this fund is the SVS’ efforts to flow impact capital to the local businesses with limited financial access.

Local governments such as Geoje City (Geoje Marine Tourism Development Corporation), Tongyeong City (Tongyeong Tourism Development Corporation), Gyeongnam Bank, NH Bank Gyeongnam Headquarters, financial institutions in the province, public and private companies participated in the formation of the fund, and it is jointly managed by MYSC and Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center.

As of December 2023, it has invested KRW 1,983 million in 14 Gyeongnam-oriented social economy companies.
