KT, together with the Korea Social Value Solidarity Fund and Impact Square implemented the KT Warm Technology Plus Challenge in 2021~2023.

The KT Warm Technology Plus Challenge is an ESG program that selects companies that solve social problems and contribute to social value creation and provides them with business realization funds, as well as technology and management consulting using KT’s future technology assets such as AI to help them upgrade their services and technologies.

KT selected companies for the KT Warm Tech Plus Challenge by focusing on social ventures that have excellent solutions and business capabilities in the areas of digital inclusion (social problem solving) and eco-friendliness (energy and climate change response) for ESG management practices.

The winning company receives up to KRW 150 million in support and KT’s tangible and intangible infrastructure (office space at KT Bridge Lab Gwanak Center). After a final evaluation after six months, the winning company receives KRW 100 million in business support and up to KRW 50 million in additional business support. In addition, they will explore business cooperation with KT in the field of digital technology.
