The Korea Social Value and Solidarity Foundation held a “Business Agreement Ceremony for Joint Investment in the Gyeonggi Impact Fund and the Creation of an Impact Investment Ecosystem (23 June)” with the Gyeonggi Social Impact Creators(GSIC). The ‘Gyeonggi Impact Fund’ is a fund that invests in social economy organisations possessing innovative technology and growth potential to support the resolution of social issues. The GSIC plans to establish a new fund totalling 15 billion won, including a 3 billion won investment in 2025. Through this agreement, SVS intends to further strengthen cooperation between the two institutions, focusing on: 1. Establishing and investing in funds to activate impact investment in Gyeonggi Province, and 2. Jointly planning and operating cooperative projects to invigorate social finance and social economy organisations.
