The Korea Social Value and Solidarity Foundation (SVS), in partnership with the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency (KoSEA), conducted the ‘2025 Training Program for Social Finance Intermediary Experts’. This initiative was undertaken to strengthen the practical capabilities of personnel at social finance intermediary organizations and to establish the human infrastructure necessary for revitalizing the social finance sector.
The training was held both online (March 14) and through a group-based practical workshop (March 20–21), with approximately 130 people participating, including practitioners from social finance intermediaries and social economy support organizations.
- The online session on March 14 primarily focused on the analysis of financial statements of social economy enterprises and a review of application documents required for loan screening.
- The practical workshop from March 20–21 was led by Hong Eun-young, a professional advisor for the Gangwon Social Economy Alliance. The workshop involved prior analysis of factors such as industry type, accounts, borrowings, and details entered on the loan application form, followed by a review of on-site due diligence checkpoints based on simulated case studies. The final segment of the training included a discussion on the analysis of financial statements and presentations by each team.
