SVS participated in the Gyeongnam Social Value Finance‘s establishement as a founding investor to foster local social finance intermediaries that are new or in their early stages. The foundation works with social economy organizations in Gyeongsangnam-do in the process of establishment of Gyeongnam Social Value Finance to increase access to finance for social economy enterprises the area and to enhance their sustainability.

In addition to the funding, SVS provided social finance education and supported to install a loan management system for intermediaries.

Gyeongnam Social Value Finance is a social financial institution with social economy organizations and various entities in the region as shareholders, and was established in Dec. 2019 with the mission of revitalizing local social economy ecosystem. It designs social finance products based on local demand including loans for social economy enterprises.
